Press and Starkey was founded in Hertfordshire in 1960 and subsequent expansion has been achieved as a result of the merger with D A Stevens and Partners, a practice established in Maidstone in 1959.
The Practice is a broadly based on serving both the public and private sector. Public Clients include Central and Local Government bodies at County, Borough and District level, Health Authorities and Government Agencies. Clients from the private sectors include multi-national manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies, national and regional property companies, banks and housing associations.
Specialist knowledge includes housing, hostels, hotels, research and development buildings for the pharmaceutical industry, communications/telecom projects, health care projects, leisure and sports facilities and historic conservation, presentation and new buildings in an historic setting. We also carry out technical auditing and appraisal work, insurance valuations and offer a dispute resolution service.
