A new Leisure Centre in a mature parkland, central Hinckley setting. The site is within a conservation area and adjacent to a Scheduled Ancient Monument and Grade II* listed buildings.
The facilities in the new leisure centre include: an 8-lane 25m swimming pool with movable floor and pool spectator gallery for 150 people, 15m x 10m studio pool with moveable floor, water play features, 8-court sports hall, 120-station fitness gym, 2 studios, group cycling, adventure play, steam room and sauna, cafe and a suite of Council offices.
The project was procured via a DBOM contract (Design, Build, Operate and Maintain) by PfP Leisure who will manage the centre on behalf of Hinckley and Bosworth Council. The Centre has achieved a ‘Very Good’ BREEAM rating.
