Trevor spent 35 years with the firm before becoming a Consultant and continuing to focus solely on all aspects of Quantity Surveying & Cost Management for the repair, conservation and representation of historic buildings and new buildings in an historic setting. He is a Member of the St Albans Diocesan Advisory Committee, Member of the Cathedral Projects Support Panel and a Council Member for Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Historic Churches Trust. Until retirement from the partnership Trevor was a member of the English Heritage Peer Review Group. Trevor leads Press & Starkey’s framework for English Heritage having previously lead the framework with Cadw Welsh Historic Monuments and Historic Royal Palaces. He has won an RICS Conservation award for his work at Lulworth Castle and been within the teams who have won RICS Conservation Awards for work at HM Tower of London (twice) and Finchingfield Guildhall and a John Betjeman award for the restoration of Jordans Quaker Meeting House.
